Relaxer sales are lower than they've ever been!

No longer falling victim to the harsh, creamy substance we all know as relaxers! More women of Color are finding the beauty of their natural, and unrelaxed hair! More women of color are embracing their natural hair regardless how society has placed them in a "box" to aspire to straight and relaxed hairstyles. Women are now flaunting their different ranges natural curls and kinks!

Relaxer sales have dropped 26% in the past five years! In the past 12 months, 70% of Black women say they currently wear their natural hair (being without relaxer). Women are finding their hair to be way more healthier now that they have abandoned the "Creamy Crack".

This is not only about the decline in relaxer sales, it's more about a new found confidence of Black Women. They are becoming more aware of their inner, outer, and natural beauty and stepping out of society's confined standards of what beauty is and should look like.
